In my research on cognition I kept running into the same problem: how do you prove something existed before a certain date without sharing the idea?

Publishing kills secrecy. Filing patents is slow and expensive. Notaries and platforms require trust most people don’t want to give. None of it fits work that’s still forming and still private.

What you actually need is simple: hash locally, timestamp the hash, anchor it somewhere independent. Your content stays with you. The proof can be verified by anyone, later.

That’s why I built OTRUST.

Universities and independent researchers shouldn’t have to pay to protect their own early work. So OTRUST is free. No accounts. No limits. No tollbooths.

Just the answer to a question I couldn’t ignore. Also a fun day at the keyboard.
